This summer Duncan Dyason and Steve Poulson are attempting the grueling challenge of walking 100km in one day in Central America!
The Camino por Amor walk started in 2016 when Duncan walked the 1,400km from Costa Rica to Guatemala to raise funds for the projects Street Kids Direct supports in Guatemala and Honduras with street-living and high-risk children and youth.
On Saturday 12th August 2017 Duncan will walk 100km in Guatemala and Steve 100km in Honduras. The challenge is not exactly equal as the terrain and mountains in Guatemala are much more of a challenge than the flat plains of Honduras where Steve will be walking. But Duncan said that: "Despite the terrain and very steep mountains we will keep our focus on the children rather than just seeking to win".
Both Duncan and Steve will set off at 4:00am on the Saturday and finsih artound 9:00pm and will keep supporters updated on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Their target is not onlñy to see who finishes first but to work together to raise £10,000 for the new Protection Home in Guatemala City.
Please sponsor Duncan and Steve and share the link with friends and family.
